Shrub will reach 6+ ft. in back dune and shorter in frontal dunes due to wind pruning. Used for restoration of back beaches and dunes systems. Serves as a wind and light break. Commerical landscape value. Recognized by its silver palm like leaves. Orange to black round fruit eaten by wildlife.
