Herbaceous perennial up to 3.5 ft. with large, attractive yellow flowers, found throughout coastal Florida. Habitats include coastal areas such as salt marshes, mangroves and dune environments. Creates large colonies. B. frutescens is the most widespread of the two Florida species. Found Zones 7+. Flowers April through August.
