Perennial to 3 ft. Commonly identified by its 6 parted large, strap like white flowers. Found in wet prairies, marshes, mesic hammocks, ditches and wet pastures. Swamp lily emerges each year from a bulb. Found throughout Florida in Zones 8+. Flowers Spring-Summer.
