TAMPA, FL – October 20-25, 2012 – Restore America’s Estuaries is hosting the 6th National Conference on Coastal and Estuarine Habitat Restoration at the Tampa Convention Center from October 20-25, 2012.

The conference theme, Restoring Ecosystems, Strengthening Communities, focuses on the importance of investing in coastal restoration to create healthy coastal environments, which create jobs and strong economies that support coastal communities. In partnership with Tampa Electric Peoples Gas (TECO), the Conference will be Climate-Neutral with an offset of 100% of the event’s emissions.

Aquatic Plants of Florida will participate in the ecosystem restoration gathering with more than 900 attendees, 100 exhibitors, 180 poster presentations, and 400 presenters in 80 sessions. Aquatic Plants of Florida plans to display numerous coastal wetland plant species, commonly found along the Gulf of Mexico region at booth #212, from its plant farm.
